Certificates

When you complete a course, PulseLMS issues a certificate you can download, share, and have independently verified.

Earning a certificate

A certificate is issued automatically the moment you complete a course that offers one. If the course requires an e-signature, the certificate is issued as soon as you sign.

Each certificate records:

  • The course title
  • Your name as the recipient
  • The issue date
  • A unique serial number

Finding and downloading

Your certificates appear in two places:

  • Dashboard: the Your certificates card lists your most recent ones with a Download button on each.
  • My Learning: completed courses show a Certificate button.

Click either to download the certificate as a PDF you can save, print, or attach to an email.

The verification page

Every certificate carries a public verification link tied to its serial number. Anyone, an employer or auditor for example, can open that link without signing in to confirm the certificate is genuine.

The verification page shows the course, the recipient, the serial, and the issue date, along with a status:

Status Meaning
Valid The certificate is genuine and current.
Expired It was genuine but has passed its expiry date.
Revoked It was withdrawn by the issuing organization.
Not found No certificate matches that serial.

Expiry & recertification

Some certificates are valid for a fixed period rather than forever, which is common for compliance and safety training that must be refreshed periodically.

  • A certificate with an expiry date shows as Expired on its verification page once that date passes.
  • To recertify, retake the course (or complete the recertification course your organization assigns). Completing it issues a fresh certificate with a new validity period.

Stay ahead of expiry

You'll typically get a notification when a certificate is due to expire or a recertification is assigned, so you have time to renew before it lapses.
