Learner Guide¶
Everything you need to find courses, work through lessons, pass quizzes, and earn certificates in PulseLMS.
PulseLMS is a browser-based learning platform. There is nothing to install; you use it at learn.mypulsetech.com in any modern browser, on desktop or mobile.
Signing in¶
You sign in with your organization's PulseTech account (single sign-on). Go to learn.mypulsetech.com, choose Sign in, and authenticate with the same credentials you use elsewhere in PulseTech. You never create a separate password for PulseLMS.
Or sign in with Discord. The sign-in page offers Discord as well. If you already have a PulseTech account, the first time you use it you'll be asked to confirm that the two belong to the same person; approve that once and Discord signs you straight in from then on. This is the same PulseTech account either way, not a second one, so your courses, progress and certificates are the same whichever way you arrive.
Linking your Discord for sign-in is not the same as linking it for course access
Signing in with Discord is about how you log in. Connecting Discord so your server roles can enrol you in courses is a separate thing you do on your My account page.
Which organization you see
PulseLMS shows the courses, programs, and certificates that belong to your organization only. Your organization's name appears in the top bar.
What's where¶
The sidebar on the left is your main navigation. Every learner sees these areas:

| Achievements | Your XP, level, streak, badges, and the leaderboard (when your organization enables it) |
| My Account | Your profile photo and display name, which emails PulseLMS sends you, and a link to your password and security settings |
The top bar has a global search box (find any course, program, or lesson), a notifications bell, and a light/dark theme toggle.
Some features are optional
Your organization can turn certain features on or off; achievements and Discord linking are examples. Notes and lesson discussion are chosen per course by whoever built it. If you don't see one of these, it hasn't been turned on for you.

Roles¶
Most people use PulseLMS as a learner. Some accounts also have added roles (instructor, author, manager, or org admin) which unlock extra areas in the sidebar. This guide covers the learner experience; the extra tools are documented in the author and admin guides.
