PulseCAD¶
A full Computer-Aided Dispatch & MDT suite for FiveM roleplay communities: dispatch, law enforcement, fire/EMS, tow, civilians, and courts in one platform, with deep in-game integration.
PulseCAD runs in the browser at cad.mypulsetech.com, with nothing to install for your staff (dispatchers, officers, and civilians all work from any device), and a single auto-configured FiveM resource brings live unit tracking, plate readers, and in-game IDs into your server. A desktop app (Windows, macOS, and Linux) is also available for staff who prefer a standalone window, and an iPad app for officers in the field is on the way.
The surfaces¶
Every community gets the same set of terminals. You choose which one to open from your community Hub after signing in.
| Surface | One-liner | Who uses it |
|---|---|---|
| Dispatch Console | Live board of active calls and on-duty units, real-time GTA-V map, 911, BOLOs, panic alerts, and radio-style commands | Dispatchers |
| Law Enforcement MDT | Go on duty, run 10-codes, attach to calls, run plates and people, and file citations and arrests | Police / sheriff / state |
| Fire & EMS MDT | Apparatus status, medical runs, patient care reports, and station alerts | Fire and medical |
| Tow & DOT MDT | Tow requests, impounds, and DOT operations | Tow operators |
| Civilian Portal | Players create characters with driver's licenses, registered vehicles, firearms, and boats: the same records officers query | Players (their characters) |
| Court / DOJ | Warrants, cases, charges, sentencing, and the docket | Judges / DOJ staff |
| Records Console | File and search reports, citations, arrests, and warrants across your community | LEO / court staff |
| Admin Console | Configure departments, penal codes, call types, members, integrations, and more | Owners & admins |
Roles & access¶
Access is decided by three orthogonal layers, not by role alone:
- Membership role (owner → admin → supervisor → member → readonly): overall standing in the community.
- Terminal Access grants: a per-member list of which terminals you're allowed to open, independent of your role.
- Department Roles: the custom department roles you hold, assigned manually or by redeeming a Permission Key.
The membership roles:
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| owner | Full control, including billing and deleting the community |
| admin | Everything in the Admin Console (departments, members, config, integrations) |
| supervisor | Elevated in-terminal actions (e.g. managing other units) |
| member | Standard on-duty access to the terminals |
| readonly | View-only; cannot create or change records |
| judge | Court/DOJ actions (sign warrants, rule on cases) |
Beyond roles
A super-admin flag is reserved for PulseTech platform staff and bypasses per-community checks. Dispatcher and civilian are contexts rather than roles: anyone can open the Civilian Portal for their own characters, and dispatch access follows the community's setup. Officers get a badge ID; dispatchers get a dispatcher ID.
Multi-tenant & multi-server¶
PulseCAD is multi-tenant: each community is fully isolated, with its own members, records, departments, and settings. You can belong to more than one community and switch between them from the Portal; your role and characters are scoped per community.
Within a community you can run multiple game servers (e.g. a main server and an events server). Units, calls, and records are scoped to the server they belong to, and staff pick a server when they go on duty.
Optional modules¶
The core CAD works standalone. These add-ons are opt-in per community:
- FiveM integration: download a resource pre-configured for your community: live map, ALPR (Wraith), in-game ID cards, vehicle registration, panic, 911, and a CAD HUD.
- Discord integration: bot with slash commands (
/units,/calls,/onduty,/link), call/BOLO notifications, role-sync, and Discord login. - Roster sync: link with PulseRoster to keep membership, ranks, and on-duty status in sync.
- Court / DOJ: a configurable justice system (available on Pulse Pro plans and up) with multiple modes, from fully manual to AI-assisted.
- AI Assist: optional AI features (report drafting, an AI judge, and more). PulseCAD supplies and runs the AI: free during the beta, a paid add-on afterwards (included on Pulse Max). Nothing is enabled unless you turn it on.
- Cross-community data sharing: opt in with allied cities to widen plate and person lookups across servers.
- Design & theming: restyle each terminal to your community's brand, with independent light/dark palettes and a live preview.
- External DB import: connect a read-only MySQL database to browse its tables and import civilians into PulseCAD Character records.
Real-time by design¶
Every terminal is live. Calls, unit statuses, dispatches, BOLOs, messages, and query results update instantly across all connected screens, with no refresh needed. Messages sent to an offline unit are waiting when they come back on duty.
