Catalog & programs

Find courses, filter and sort them, read reviews, and enroll, then follow structured programs that guide you through courses in order.

Browsing the catalog

Open Catalog from the sidebar to see every course available to your organization. Each course appears as a card showing its category, a status tag, difficulty, estimated length, star rating, and tags.

Searching and filtering

The filter bar at the top of the catalog gives you four controls:

Control What it does
Search box Type to find courses by title. Results update as you type.
Difficulty Narrow to Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or Any difficulty.
Tags Show only courses with a chosen tag.
Sort Order by Title, Newest, or Top rated.

Search from anywhere

The global search box in the top bar finds matching courses, programs, and individual lessons from any screen, not just the catalog.

Course status

The tag in the corner of each card tells you where you stand:

Tag Meaning
Published Available to enroll in
Enrolled You're already enrolled and in progress
Completed You've finished this course

Enrolling in a course

To enroll in a course:

  1. Open Catalog and find the course you want.
  2. Click Enroll on its card.
  3. You're taken straight into the lesson player to begin.

Once enrolled, the button changes to Continue (or Review if you've finished). Some courses read By assignment only: these are assigned to you by an instructor or manager rather than self-enrolled, so there's no Enroll button.

Assigned courses

Courses assigned to you appear automatically in My Learning and your dashboard to-do list, sometimes with a due date. You don't need to enroll in them yourself.

Ratings & reviews

Course cards show a star rating and a review count once learners have left feedback.

  • Read reviews: click the review count on a card to open a panel listing each reviewer's rating, comment, and date.
  • Leave a review: when you finish a course, a Rate this course card appears at the end of the lesson player. Pick a star rating (1–5), add an optional comment, and submit. You can edit your review afterward.

Some courses handle reviews differently

Whoever built the course decides. On some, your review goes only to the instructors and admins rather than appearing on the card, though you will still be asked for one when you finish. On others, reviews are turned off entirely and no card appears. Either way you can always withdraw a review you have left.

Programs (learning paths)

A program is an ordered path of courses that belong together: for example an onboarding track or a compliance series. Open Programs from the sidebar.

The page has two sections:

  • My programs: programs you're enrolled in, with your progress.
  • Browse programs: published programs you can join. Click Enroll to add one to My programs.

Following a program

Each enrolled program shows an overall progress bar, how many courses you've completed, and a step list, one row per course. Click any available step to open that course in the player.

Steps are marked with their status:

Status Meaning
Available Ready to start
In progress You've begun this course
Completed You've finished this course (shown with a checkmark)
Locked Not yet available; finish the earlier step first

Sequential unlocking

Programs tagged Step-by-step unlock one course at a time. A locked step shows a lock icon and can't be opened until you complete the step before it. As you finish each course, the next one unlocks automatically.

Programs that aren't step-by-step let you take the courses in any order.

Tip

A program can have a due date. When it does, the date appears on the program card so you know your deadline for the whole path.
