All venue configuration lives under Location settings in the web admin (Venue Admin only).

Location & branding

Your venue identity and the letterhead printed on notices:

  • Display name and legal business name (the legal name prints on notices).
  • Logo — uploaded image, shown at the top of every notice.
  • Address, city/state, and business phone (auto-formatted to (123) 456-7890).
  • Timezone — all scan times, logins, and reports display in this zone, and the door age check uses it for "today".

Door policy

  • Minimum entry age — youngest age allowed in.
  • Minimum age for full privileges — age allowed to drink.
  • Auto-deny expired IDs — refuse expired licenses.
  • Flag IDs expiring within 30 days — surface soon-to-expire IDs for review.

Custom door decision rules

For venues that need more than two age bands, define your own. Add ordered age bands, each with its own decision and the exact wording bouncers see. When you add any band, these override the minimum-age settings above; bands are checked top-to-bottom and the first matching range wins. Expired/invalid IDs are still handled first by the door policy.

Retention

  • Scan retention (days) — scans older than this are auto-deleted (default 30). Scans tied to an active flag are kept regardless.
  • Flag retention (days) — how long inactive flags are kept (default 365).

See Privacy & Compliance for how deletion works.

Flag visibility

Control what bouncers can see and do inside a flag's file. Managers and admins always see everything; bouncers always see the face photo, name, flag type, and quick reason. Toggle whether bouncers can:

  • See the incident log (comments)
  • See internal notes
  • See trespass legal details (police report, issued by/date)
  • See scanned ID images
  • Add photos and incident-log comments

Notice templates

Edit the wording for ban, trespass, and warning notices, plus the footer/disclaimer printed at the bottom of every notice. Use {venue} where your business name should appear. Each template has a Show preview (opens a sample notice using your current text) and there's a Reset to default button to restore PulseID's generic wording. Already-issued notices keep their original wording.
